Jason Walker is a seasoned professional performer, educator and accompanist whose wide interest in percussion has led him to propel ensembles from Blues and Afro-Cuban to Jazz and Afro-Funk. As an Educator he has been adjunct faculty at Towson University, led Group Workshops and taught After School Programs, as well as holding a regular schedule of Private Lessons. Jason is an avid Accompanist, believing that playing for dancers is an essential part of leaning how to Move People with rhythm. It is with this belief in the Power of Rhythm he has approached work in the field of Therapeutic Intervention for over a decade.
